Today Mallory competed in the 4th-6th grade school Spelling Bee. Last year, as a 4th grader, she came in 3rd place and got to compete in the Area Spelling Bee. This year all the nerves were gone and she was determined to win!

They started with 37 kids.
Down to 5 in the 7th round.
Final 2! She ended up losing to a 4th grade boy...she missed the word "Perturb"
2nd place still goes on to compete in the Area Competition next week. She is so excited!

Here are the top 3 finishers....I think they were the 2 shortest kids in the school...and Mallory is one of the taller ones!
