Brunch with Jennifer

I met up with my childhood friend Jennifer for brunch today. I think I met her in 4th or 5th grade. We played soccer and softball together and were friends all through high school. She moved out to Parker, CO from the Bay Area with her family several years ago. We have been REALLY bad about getting together...but we are vowing to change that! I have so much fun chatting with her. So much fun, that during our over 2 hour long brunch, I failed to take a picture! So here is Snooze...Yummy, Yummy, Yummy!

Happy Friday!

Today I met with the infamous Robyn Beauchamp for lunch at the Cherry Cricket. She brought along one of the girls she watches, Aniston.

It was a such a beautiful day out. Drew made me put the top down for the drive home from school. At 50 degrees, I was glad we live only 1/2 mile from the school! Brrrrr.

Mallory found out today that she made the Honor Choir at school...This is one happy girl. She had to sing a solo for the audition...She is soooo brave! Always impressed by this one.

Wind And Snow

The wind blew in last night and it was a miserable night. 80 mile/hr winds suck! And then in the middle of the night, the snow started.

I took this at the kids school while I was waiting to pick Mallory up.

The wind was still blowing at bit today...made for some pretty clouds and skies.

It's getting really windy...which makes for some cool clouds. This is facing west... I liked how it was so smooth over the mountains and then a strip of blue and then rough, choppy clouds as you went east.

Lunch with Ali

Met for lunch today with one of my favorite people...the beautiful Ali and her adorable daughter Ella. We used to work together and now she lives down in Castle Rock and I don't get to see her nearly enough. Such a nice, genuine person.

Mataam Fez

Tonight we joined some friends to celebrate Judy's birthday. 14 of us surprised her at Mataam Fez Morrocan Restaurant. We had a great time sitting on cushions at low tables, eating with our hands, and watching the belly dancers.

Volleyball

Mallory and a couple of her buddies are doing a series of volleyball clinics at a club in town. She has a blast with it...maybe next year she'll be ready for the club team!

Valentine's Dates

Tim and I went out to lunch for Valentine's day and decided we should have "dates" with the kids that night. So Drew and I headed out to BJ's and had a lovely dinner together...he bought. Tim had given him some money to pay and he LOVED pulling out his velcro wallet and figuring out how much to put in the folder. So cute.

After dinner, we all met up at Smart Cow for some frozen yogurt.





Great Valentine's Day. So nice to have that one on one time with the kiddos.

5th Grade Bowling Party

Mallory's 5th Grade class had a bowling Valentine's party today. Since I'm off work, I got the rare chance to chaperone a field trip. They had such a blast!
