It was a beautiful Sunday and the neighborhood kids had a whiffle ball game in the backyard.  So fun!  The only time I'm glad our backyard is poorly landscaped...lots of room for a ballfield.


 

 

 

 

 

Couple's Game Night

Tonight was Couple's Game Night at the Stubbendick's. They are way too creative and made it an adult Candyland night. We were each assigned a character to come as and we had candyland snacks and drinks and played a lifesize board game with "penalty shot" cards. Such a fun night with great friends. Oh, and Tim and I took home the coveted trophy for the 4th time!

The Next Generation of Ball Players

I have been friends with Jennifer since about 5th grade. We played softball and soccer together for years.  So many good memories together.  She moved out to Colorado several years ago, but lives down in Parker, so we've only gotten together a few times and hadn't met each other's families.  Well that changed this weekend!  Jen's son played in the same baseball tournament that Drew did, so we got to hang out and have some fun.

Ladybug?

Found this little guy crawling on the sofa this morning.  The kids decided it was a poisonous ladybug because it had orange spots instead of red ones.  Not so sure about that, but it was kind of cool looking...once we took it outside!

Happy Birthday Kyle!

Kyle turned 19 today!  He wasn't able to come home to celebrate with us because of a football commitment and he was pretty bummed about it.  Kenzie had the great idea for us to meet them up in Loveland for dinner and surprise him.  Drew's baseball game ran long, so they beat us to the restaurant, but he was still thrilled we came up.  Can't believe he's 19!  So proud of him!

UNC Blue vs Gold Spring Game

Kyle and the UNC bears have been putting in some hard work the last 5 or so weeks during their spring camp.  This weekend was the end and they split the squad into 2 teams and play a game.  Kyle was on the Blue team and was victorious!  It was great to see him playing and way more confident than he was as a freshman.  Unfortunately, he hurt his leg on a tackle at the end of the first half and didn't play the second half....although he still managed to lead the team in tackles!

Tim came home from his trip today and we met up with our friends Tom and Dale for some Smart Cow frozen yogurt.  It was great to catch up with them and have some yummy dessert!

Art Night

Every year the kids elementary school puts on an art night.  They do a great job showcasing all the fun and amazing art projects the kids have done throughout the year.
