Couple's Game Night

Tonight was Couple's Game Night. We have been meeting with the Gl-ittakers, the Stubbendicks, and the Sagonas every other month for about a year and a half now. We eat, drink, laugh and play a game. Sounds like fun, huh? Don't be deceived...it's a cut throat competition for the lovely Pat Trophy. The winner of the night takes her/him home and adds something to it. The Stubbendicks won last time and gave Pat a dog. Tim and I won the very first 2 game nights, but have been in a slump since. We were DUE!

Standley Lake Book Club

I have belonged to this book club for about a year and a half now....such a fun group! We read a wide variety of books and always have a great discussion...and a lot of wine and yummy food. Drew had his second basketball game of the year today. Tough loss for the Tar Heels. It was a very physical game...almost more football than basketball! Kids were on their butts more than their feet. Not fun to watch!
